Presidential Inauguration Schedule, April 12-13
Decatur, GA. Stephen A. Hayner will be inaugurated as the ninth president of Columbia Theological Seminary during a two-day event, April 12-13. The event begins on campus Monday, April 12, with the annual alumni/ae awards dinner, followed by a worship service at Columbia Presbyterian Church. Dr. Hayner’s inauguration takes place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, at the church, and is followed by a luncheon and an afternoon symposium on the future of Christ's church and Columbia’s mission in the 21st century.
David Bartlett, the Distinguished Professor of New Testament, will preach at the worship service. Music during the service will be performed by Steve Swayne, associate professor of music, Dartmouth University.
