As Christianity grows in the Global South, Christians utilize theology to address complex political issues. This course investigates how political theologies from the Global South, in dialogue with voices from the Global North, tackle topics like colonialism, ecological degradation, economic injustice, migration-related issues, and identity-based exclusion. Throughout, we will focus on how theology influences political ideas, institutions, and practices—and how these, in turn, shape theology.
